I am 17 years old and I am a Junior in Chapel Hill, NC.Ever since 2019 I have developed an interest in American politics and the inner workings of the US government. While my interest increased I recognized a very common problem in information provided involving politics, the problem of simplicity. It was very hard to find a simple and summarized version of a political problem that had occurred, so that I was informed and knew the overall situation without having to read for hours while getting more and more confused. I wanted to make a Blog that could inform high school students about current political issues so that more students are educated while also not boring them with an excessive amount of information. My goal is to produce a weekly Blog post that easily summarizes current political news that has occured recently, in a way that students easily  understand.  Informing isn’t my only goal, I also want to educate high school students as to why these politcal issues matter, how they effect them and how they can make a difference.
